Too often, players are in positions which do not showcase their top tools. Even when playing the right position, a player's top tool is frequently underdeveloped. It can be difficult to navigate through the world of amateur, college and professional baseball. Players may not know how to develop these tools and instincts in order to advance.

At Momentum Athletics, we advise players of the most productive path to be scouted in order to become college and professional prospects and elite baseball players.  Our job is to identify a player's tools, and develop those tools to grade on the highest level of the 2-8 Major league scouting scale. We develop instincts beyond the scale in order

to separate the player from a player who has equal or even greater tools.

Momentum will help players and parents understand this grading system, and give guidance to navigating the major league scouting process.  We prepare the athlete for the draft process, how to to interact with scouts and college coaches, home visits, player questionnaires, signing bonus/slot values, college scholarship plans, 

and endorsement deals.

We do this through the Momentum Athletic's Baseball PROgram .  

What is the PROgram? 

• Momentum's PROgram focuses on developing players through instruction at a Major League level.

In the PROgram you will advance in:

• Hit & Power Tools: Focusing on bat speed, swing plane, barrel awareness, swing biomechanics, pitch recognition, and hitting approach
• Throwing Tools: Focus will be given to throwing mechanics, arm slots, arm speed, shoulder care, recovery and more.
• Running Tools: foot speed, running mechanics, first step quickness, explosiveness, and base running instincts
• Defensive Tools: Footwork, angles, routes, positional arm actions, soft hands, and fielding IQ
